The cultural visits :

The Museum of Fine Arts La Cohue offers guided tours of exhibitions as well as lectures and activities for children based on art. For the curious or passionate about history, you will find the Museum of History and Archaeology which presents many ancient objects. These museums are located downtown. It is recommended to consult the sites to know the events and exhibitions of the moment.

Nature and animal lovers, the Jardin aux Papillons welcomes you.

The must-sees :

The historical center of Vannes, not to say the heart of Vannes. You can admire the charm of the city with its paved streets and half-timbered houses from another era. At the corner of a street you will see Vannes and his wife, a sculpture integrated into the facade of a house, which has become an emblem of the city. After crossing the intramuros in the direction of the port, you will pass the pretty Saint-Vincent gate before arriving in front of the port of Vannes.

Take another path and discover the Hermine castle, its gardens and the city walls. You will also see the different doors of the old city walls on your way.

To see the sea, just go to the peninsula of Conleau belonging to Vannes. Located a few minutes by car, bus or bike (for the bravest), you will find a beach with a view on the Gulf, bars and restaurants and you can walk on the coastal path around this peninsula.
