Our 4 routes in Vannes for a successful jog
We've got four routes to choose from for your running sessions in Vannes in the Golfe du Morbihan. There's something for everyone, but one thing's for sure: you'll enjoy the beautiful scenery every time, and all by the water!

These jogging circuits in Vannes can also be enjoyed on foot, for some lovely walks.

The banks of the Vincin and the Conleau peninsula
5 km route

Walk along the banks of the Vincin to the pointe de Conleau and complete the loop. For beginners, you can simply choose to do the yellow loop on the 3 km map.

It's the ideal course for a gentle recovery or for beginners. Enjoy the scenery as you run under the pines, with the coconut scent of gorse!

Our tip: go at the end of the day to enjoy a beautiful sunset.

The Pointe des Émigrés and the Conleau peninsula
7 km route

Near the ferry terminal, take the coastal path alongside the boats that ply the Gulf islands.

You'll come across plenty of walkers and cyclists on this route, especially at weekends. You can complete the loop at the pointe de Conleau, making the route 6 km long. You can extend it by cycling along the banks of the Vincin (mentioned above).

It's also worth deviating from the Pointe des Émigrés coastal path on the way back, as the wooded trails there allow you to lengthen the circuit and vary the scenery (7 km).

Our advice: Go in the morning to catch the first rays of sunshine.

Larmor-Gwened Rosvelec and its walk towards Séné
8 km route

From the Kérino bridge, follow the Gulf of Morbihan on the Séné side to the pointe de Rosvelec. To complete the loop, return via the country roads.

If you want to extend your run, we recommend setting off from the port of Vannes for a 10km circuit.

L'Étang au Duc in the heart of Vannes
2 km route

The Etang au Duc de Vannes offers a 2km lap. The advantage? It's in the town centre, about 15 minutes' walk from our hotel, and you can do as many laps as you like. Despite its proximity to the busy Avenue de la Paix, the area remains peaceful and pleasant.

Please note: the pond promenade is open from 8am to 9pm (8am to 10pm from 1 June to 31 August).

Our advice: prepare yourself for a cardio + muscle-strengthening session. Since January 2021, near the pond playground, there has been a "Health and Fitness Trail" with several modules to work your muscles after a good jog!
